Okay so I was banded on 8-11-2011 and today is the fifth day... I feel good, I had some bruising and some discomfort but nothing crazy... I have lost 15lbs so far it has been 3 weeks since I started this journey and I am so happy I made this choice! I do look forward to solid foods soon... I just want to chew something. But I wish everyone the best of luck with their journey! Yeah to all the August Banders... Stay strong!

Had my pre op appointment today lost 9 lbs on the 2 wk optifast... Get my Band on Thursday and I am soooo ready! Good luck to everyone we are about to begin a wonderful journey!

I will go with you on the challenge that will be fun... 9-11!

We will be having the surgery the dame day! I had to do 2 weeks on the pre-op diet but I am almost done. Good Luck with you journey!

I am also having the pre op jitters... My surgery is the day before you and I am having some of the same feelings. But I know that it what I need to do for myself and I am postive that I have made the right decision. Lets both thinkl of all the positive things in our future and leave the worry behind! I will be thinking of you and Good Luck...
