trying to show my weight on ticker........help??

well i got my second fill last thursday...under fluro, this time way too tight. after the third day of not being able to hold anything down i called the doctor (this was on a sunday) he called his nurse and they both came to the office to remove a bit of fill (about .5 of a cc) made all the difference. I lost quite a bit in those 3 days not a good way though. if anyone is interested in Costa Rica Dr. Suarez Castro is the best band Dr. here. his fees are simular to those in mexico and his after care is the best. His office calls me daily after a fill (fills are $70.00 + $50.00 for the fluro if you need it) to see how i am doing. There are other doctors here but I have seen first hand the after care or lack of i should say. If anyone would like contact numbers I will be happy to give them to you. I am so very happy to have found him. I am on my way down once again.

don't feel bad baby got back...we are the same. We started about the same time lost about the same and going to the second fill the same time. I too have been at a stand still, i can eat much more now although a lot less than before the band. I have not lost since the second week of my first fill. lost 10 pounds with the fill. I go this Friday for my second fill, this one under fluro. The doc put in 2.3 last time no fluro. Sorry i haven't written much i live in the Costa Rica jungle and my Internet (sat) goes down when we get rains, and this Si the season for it. I don't want to see you discouraged you are such an inspiration to everyone on this list me included. You have a wonderful giving way about you and I am happy you are with me in this struggle to be thin. Stay happy...and persevere... Alice

I dont know whats happening but i can eat just about anything. I am still eating healthy however i can eat a big bowl of chicken soup with yuka, yams, platano etc. (spanish vegge) I had surgery 1/18/07 the scale hasent moved in 4 days.....I am also using fitday (thanks guys for the tip) so I kind of know what I am eating. I am eating about 995 cal per day on average...what am I doing wrong????help.....

surgery 1/18/07, lbs lost 17 great doctor, hospital, staff thye all work as a team. he is havig a special now for $6,990. best money ever spent. call janet in the states she is a patient coordinator. Alice

Thanks for the welcome; I am a low bmi and losing very slowly, how about you? DO you know if the band is filled when it is istalled or is the 1st fill really when the band starts to work?

Hi, I am from Va Bch but now reside most of the time in Costa Rica. I was banded 1/18/07 in monterry mexico. How are you doing so far? I have lost 15 lbs but now it seems slow.
