    Try not to lay on your back for too long. Laying on my side, sitting, and walking helped me a lot. The gas pain should subside within 48 hours after surgery. A little pain now, but believe me you won't be disappointed. Harold Banded: 1/2/06 Pre-banding: 308lbs Now: 175lbs Been under 200lbs now for almost 5 years!
