  1. Thanks guys so far for the advice! I have recently heard the Biotin Vitamins. My mom picked some up for me the other day. The hardest part for me is getting my protien in. I go to college and have classes all day and to be straight up, they dont have many food options on campus. I could bring food, but I dont have much at home either. The protien is a HUGE issue for me. I maybe get 30 grams in if i'm lucky, not to mention only about 500-600 calories if that, a day. Not good, I know. I hope this gets better.
  2. Hello everyone! I am a little over 4 months out from surgery and doing well, 70 pounds down, except for the problem of hair loss. It's crazy in my bathroom right now with all the hair everywhere! I am kind of depressed about this issue. I used to have the thickest hair, and it keeps getting thinner and thinner by the day. Does anyone have any advice/tips regarding this issue? Anyway to decrese it? Any specific vitmains, supplements or food I should eat to decrease hair loss? Anything would help at this point! Thanks so much, -Lily
  3. Hello Everyone! I am so excited to say that my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning!!! I am excited and nervous all at the same time. My mom got hers done on the 9th of September, and she is doing great. I am so incredibly proud of her. I can truly say that this liquid diet has been hell. Watching all of my friends chowing down at my apartment has been a nightmare. Haha. I just had a question for those of you who are already sleeved out there. I am 19 years old, weigh 260 right now, and I am 5'8. How is the extra skin factor? I know your skin has more elasticity when you're younger but I am just worried I will have a ton of extra skin and I kind of don't want that. So, if you are around the same weight, height, or age as me I would appreciate your input. Thanks, and good luck to all on their journey! -Lily

  5. I have been just browsing around this site reading people stories for about a week or so, I figured it's about time I introduced myself. Hello all, My name is Lily and I am a 19 almost 20 year old college student. I go to FAU in Boca Raton, Fl, and my surgeon is Dr. Domkowski from Sebastian River Medical Center. I am so happy too hear all of you have had so much success. My surgery date is September 20th and I am so excited to get my new life started. I am young, in college, and ready to get my self-esteem back. As many say, these are supposed to be the best years of my life. I am 5'8, 266lbs. My goal weight is 140ish. If any of you are around my age, height, and weight I would love to hear your stories. Also, I would love to hear tips for success from all you who are already sleeved. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!
