  1. I'm a little tired got little to no sleep last night I expect to get even less sleep tonight. I have surgery in 22 hours... On nothing but clear liquids all day today this will be the hardest day ever I just hope that it goes fast. Very excited and just ready to do this.
  2. OK, I have 3 more days till my surgery. Lucky for me I am the first one of the day. Bad part of that is I am also prob the farthest away from the hospital.... So I have to be there at 6am means we have to leave our house at about 4:30am... but guess it just means that I will sleep good after the surgery. Hope you are all having a great weekend.
  3. I've looked for both of you on fb and can't seem to find you. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.
  4. I get to have a lean protien & veggies or a weight watchers meal for supper. With protein shakes for breakfast and lunch along with a piece of fruit with the shakes. Not been bad at all here.
  5. I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday and I am even more excited to get this going. I rememeber walking out the door of the Doctors office thinking to myself this is really going to happen. A week from today I will be banded. To all of you that are getting it done today the best of luck to you on your journey.... Just a side note if any of you haven't yet check out on youtube there is lots of vlogs of different people's WLS journey. I have found lots of great information on there.
  6. March 13th for me....on day 4 of the pre op diet. SO far doing well. I have just found the blender bottle with blender ball. I LOVE it....now I just wish I could find a protien powder that I like. I go for my blood work and other tests on Monday so the goal is to stop at the local Vitamin Shoppe, where I've been told they have a protien shake by the name of Nectar. Can't wait to try it out. Good luck to all that are getting banded this next week. Exciting & scary all at the same time.
  7. I also have done so well the past 4 days sticking to the diet. My diet at least I get to have a sensible dinner. But today I had an oops. I ate a piece of corn bread. May sound pretty small but still I wasn't suppose to eat it. I am also having the guilts from doing this. All I can say is we just have to move on and be better from now on. Good luck to you.
  8. I start my pre-op liquid diet tomorrow...I get a shake for breakfast and lunch, I can have two pieces of fruit, and a ww meal for dinner. Oh and I can have all the broth, sf jell-o and sf popsicles I want. It's going to be rough but I am more then ready to get this started.
  9. I just got my date set for March 13th. I am very excited has been a long time coming. Starting my pre op diet tomorrow...What is everyone using for the protien shakes used in the pre op diet?
