After at least 10 years of struggling with my weight I decided it was time to do something about it.  I heard about the Lap Band from my mother.  Because she has the same weight problems I have and she has sleep apnea, he suggested this might be an option for her.  So I thought why not me too?  We did a six month weight loss program required by our insurance.  We now have our surgery dates scheduled.  I am still in the Pre-Op stage doing a liquid diet for a week.  I feel like God has answered my prayers!!  Maybe now I can be the wife, mother, and teacher that I was meant to be!
