    Hi! I am scheduled for my VSG with Dr. Vadim Gritsus at Valley Hospital on 8/3. He and his office staff have been just fantastic!! I saw him last year too but I wasn't ready. Two years ago I saw a Dr. B. at Hackensack and I was NOT impressed. Experienced but horrible attitude - "Don't come back until you know which surgery you want to have"! I was like, no, I'm just not coming back... VSG wasn't an option with him so I'm glad I waited!! Dr. Gritsus has answered every single question of mine with patience and respect. His staff is polite and their goal is to make the process as smooth as possible. They will refer you to a psych and nutritionist if you don't have your own, and they are on the ball as far as working with insurance to get preapproval. I just joined so I don't know if you've posted since this - where are you at in the process now? Good luck!
