You are not alone. I am almost 3 weeks post op and still in a little pain. It is much better but in the beginning I felt horrible. I also had a hernia repair and so maybe that's why I was in such pain. I walked until my back and hips hurt, now its mainly my back and upper right side. Hoping to heal soon. Don't get discouraged, although at this point it is easy to do. Hope you feel better soon!

I am two weeks post of today and my back is just about to drive me nuts. Did any of you all have this problem?

I had my surgey on the 17th, and the gas and swelling is pretty bad, I also had a hernia repair.. My back feels like I'm having muscle spasms. So far this has not been real pleasant for me. I see the doc on Thursday for my one week check up. Hope you start feeling human soon!

Good morning everyone, to day at 1:00 PM I am heading to banding, very nervous and excited. I will try and let the future banders know how it gows. Thanks for this sight.

My Doc says everything in moderation, we are having this surgery to enjoy life, right?

I've had three surgeries that required C02 without much pain, I am just wondering if this will be like them.

Congrats to you! I hope for you a speedy recovery and lots of weight loss! I am a wuss when it comes to pain and I told my Doctor, so he made sure to give me a refill.

My surgery is on the 17th as I said earlier and I plan on returning to my office job on Monday, did any of you all return to work on the 5th day?

My surgery is August 17th and I was wondering if anyone's pain meds work, cause I read alot about all the pain. Can anyone tell me?

My surgery is also on Aug 17. Nervous and excited!!! I am on 70g protien at least, 10g fat, and 30 carbs.
