Congratulations!! That is a big accomplishment.

There are EXCELLENT doctors in Mexico. I hate when people have this uninformed opinion about another country.

I was sleeved on July 27th and I have two small children. At the time, one was 10 months and the other was 22 months, so both of them needed to be carried or lifted. My doctor said to wait two weeks, and luckily I had help. After my 6th week I was fine on my own.

Hi Raquel, I was sleeved a day before you on July 27th, and I am experiencing the exact same thing. The first four weeks I lost about 20 lbs then for the past three weeks my weight goes up and down and have only lost about 5 lbs since. I have seen on this board that that is normal. I just hope this stall ends very soon. I know the frustration you must be feeling. Just know that you are not alone. I hope your stall ends soon. Good luck! Maria

I am in the same boat. It's been a little better the past few days, but I sure hope this is just a normal phase and it goes away soon. I am still on Clear liquids, but I've had to take the Protein powders mixed with Water just to get by my day. Every one says to walk, walk, walk, but how I am I supposed to walk when I have no energy. I am also taking the protein shots since my preop liquid diet, but I can't stand the taste anymore. I hope someone has some advice for us.

Congratulations Tracy!! I was also sleeved on July 27th. I was feeling really week for the past two days, but today I feel a whole lot better. I am also very excited that my journey has began.

I just got out of the hospital today after getting my sleeve on Wednesday. I had to go two days without eating or drinking anything until this morning. All I've had was about 12 oz. of liquid. That included Water, chicken broth and some liquid Protein shot. I am full, but I feel like I didn't get enough liquids for the day. I have no pain what so ever except for a little discomfort caused by gas. The only big thing is that I feel very weak. How is everyone else doing?

I am supposed to be in the hospital tomorrow morning at 6:00 am. I am getting more nervous by the minute. GOOD LUCK to everyoone else that is also getting sleeved tomorrow!!! Everyone, please keep us in your prayers!

How exciting!! My surgery is also scheduled for July 27th. I have been on a full liquid diet for a few days now and tomorrow I am starting my clear liquids.
