  2. There are some wonderful vegiterian, low carb, high protien meals that are delicious besides fish and beans. It all depends on what your taste buds call for. Try to step out of your box and make some ethnic dishes like Arab or Indian dishes. They are high in spices and can be very low carb and healthy and yummy. I'm making eggplant parmesean for dinner tonight...a first ...I usually have the fried chicken patties.

Today is day 3 for me and I still feel like crap...my abdomen is still sore and the gas is very uncomfortable..I spoke to a wise 21 yr. old today (my son) and he tells me...a few days of discomfort in order to get rid of a lifetime of obesity....hmmm...u can do it! lol guess I did pretty good with that one
  5. Hey Lisa, My surgery is scheduled for July 19...day 3 of preop diet..I am diabetic, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, diabetic neurophathy and 40% kidney damage. I'm 42 yrs. old and the mother of 4 wonderful children ages 21, 15, 13 and 9. I just wanna live to be a grandma and like you ..just wanna feel healthy and join the rest of the world. I was a lil nervous about the surgery but considering its a outpatient procedure ..I calmed down...I am wishing you the best ...be strong ..love yourself ....WE CAN DO IT!!!!
