  1. Thanks everyone for the encouragement and different perspectives. Just a few days away now, so I'm crossing my fingers....
  2. Hi everyone! My name is Glorianne. I live in Boulder, CO and am scheduled for surgery July 14. I only decided a few weeks ago this was the option for me (after ANOTHER failed diet due to extreme hunger), but since I am financing it instead of going through insurance, I was able to fast-track the process. Unfortunately, I am having family stay with me the week of the surgery, so I'm a little worried that my post-op liquid diet (and pain? fatigue?) may put a damper on things. Still, I decided I could no longer wait so I booked the surgery. I'm excited -- a little nervous too -- and I have been glued to the forums so I can see what to expect. As an information junkie, I am thrilled there is a site like this where any minor concern, victory, tip or trick can be voiced. Wish me luck everyone!
