  1. Hey, you are doing great. I was sleeved the day before you. Congrats on your loss so far. So I have to ask are you doing any protein supplements? I am 8 weeks out and I have been on protein for 10 weeks and I am tired of drinking it. I am trying very hard to train my body to eat again but it is really hard. I can hardly eat a thing and believe you me I could care less. The only thing that concerns me is I am not getting my protein in and I don't want to lose my muscle vs. fat! Let me know, thanks !
  2. Great post, I am 7 weeks out today. I can drink but I can not eat. I've stated I ate enough in my life to go a few months without eating at all. I am also wondering how I will introduce food back in my life. At this point it does not feel as if I will ever eat again.
  3. Well I was sleeved one week ago today. I have been walking everyday since I left the hospital. My dr said he really tightened me up and don't I know it. My tummy finally let me get some sleep last night. I haven't had any pains since they took my pain pump at the hosptial the day after suregery (was using it for sleep). I am still having a hard time getting my fluids in. It has been a little easier as the days have gone by. Yesterday was the first time I got in my 64oz plus some. I do feel very weak however so I have started back on my protein as well.
  4. Congratulations, great to hear! I am on the liquid diet and much like yourself I have followed it to almost the T. My surgery is Monday and I hope I have a speedy recovery as yourself. I wish you much success!
  5. I am very sorry to hear about your decrease in weight loss. My surgery is scheduled for July 25th, I am going to repalce 2 meals with Protein drinks and 1 reg meal per day. Maybe you should try this and see if you can start loosing agin. It may have been too soon to add reg meals all together back in. And the ALCOHOL don't waste you calorie intake on this. We can get through this. I know it is hard because we have been having this fight all of our life and now you have a tool to help and it seems helpless. Don't give up. Try something different before giving up. Good luck and Don't give up we have come too far to go back now.
  6. I have 12 more days before I am on the losers bench. I am on my liquid diet and so far so good. I think I am not hungry because I went to get my hair done yesterday and my beautician did it so TIGHT I can't think about eating. yay! I am ready for this, bring it on !
  7. I have heard many things about hair loss. I also have come across a few people who have come up with some type of resolution. I know about protein however what is Brotin? a few people mention this and I googled it and hardly nothing comes up. Perhaps I am speliing it wrong but hey I copied this from someone else. Thanks
