What a kind and positive person you are. I really appreciate your words of encouragement. I realize I have fallen back into distructive behaviors and the self loathing that got me where to 287lbs in the first place. I will find someone that is willing to work with me. Thank you for your support!

Thanks for responding. i just moved to a new city so I am starting over trying to find a doctor. I have found that many doctors won't take me on as a patient because they didn't do the surgery. I did loose weight. I went from 287lbs to 180lbs. I kept it off for quite a while but over the last two years the weight is coming back on. I'm back up to 240lbs. It is so depressing. I am going to try having all the fill taken out to see if the reflux stops but am worried. I don't think there is much in there. I have failed my band.

I was banded in Montery Mexico in 2004. I am afraid I may have to have it removed due to acid reflux problems. How do I go about finding a doctor to do the surgery? I don't want to go back to Mexico and I just moved to a new city.
