    I had lap band surgery last October, and have lost 70 pounds. Our insurance covered our surgery because I too had diabetes, high blood pressure, and sleep apnea. If you need three problems, and have not been tested for sleep apnea, see if your insurance pays for the sleep study and if so have it done. Then go back to the insurance company and see if they will pay for weight loss surgery. Claudia from Lacey WA
