  1. I'm glad you mom is doing better, I will keep you both in my thoughts! I had the band place in Jan 2009 and as soon as I started solid food I started having problems. After months of the doctor telling me my swallowing problems weren't from my band, and after tasting blood whenever I did any kind of physical activity I decided to have my band removed. I only had it in for 7 months!! I had it removed by the same surgeon that put it in, he did my removal at an outpatient surgical center and when I woke up I had been transported to the hospital and was in the ICU with drains coming out of my abdomen because I had an erosion and my abdomen was full of infection! It was a complete nightmare. I am scheduled to have the sleeve on July 12th, it took me 2 years to get up enough courage to try another WLS. I hope everything continues to improve for you mother! Take care!!
  2. Off the subject, I love you goal for the year! I will be sleeved on July 12th and family picture are one of the things I am looking soooo forward too!!
