6 Days Post Op,shoulder Pain.....
I am 7 days post op and today is the first day without the shoulder pain. I think it may also be gas. You do have to eat very slow (so much for hot foods anymore). lol Good luck!!!

Pre-Op Diet Confussion
I wasn't told i had to loose any weight before surgery. I am keeping my carbs below 40 as instructed to shrink my liver.

Pre-Op Diet Confussion
I am scheduled for surgery on 1/30 and have been on the pre-op diet given to me by my doctor for a week. I see alot of people talking about being on a liquid diet before surgery. I am not on a liquid diet but have to stay under 40 carbs per day. I am sure all doctors are different but has anyone else had the same low carb diet instead of the liquid diet before surgery. I am scared i have missed something and want to be sure I am doing the right thing.

January bandster with questions
I am new to this site so I will introduce myself. I am 33 and have struggled with weight all of my life. I have two beautiful daughters. I want to get healthier so that i can see them grow up and be able to help them to be healthy. I have tried so many diets and programs but nothing seems to work. I decided in March to check out the lap band. I went through all the qualification steps and my insurance denied the surgery. After two appeals I have now been approved and i am so excited. I am scheduled to get my band on January 30th, 2012. If you have any advice for what i should do in the next two months to prepare please share. I would be very appreciative for any advice.
