    I got my cardiac clearance today and I get banded on June 30th! I can't wait! I am a little scared and nervous! How long did it take you guys to get back to normal after the surgery?

    Hi Jen, I am a teacher in NC also! I want to get banded before school starts so I can be ready to start back. I am going for my appointment tomorrow to see the doctor. I have all of my pre-surgery tests done. So I hope it won't take long for BCBS to approve me and for me to get the surgery done. I hope all goes well with you! Caroline
