  1. You're absolutely right!!! No wonder we had no energy!! lol
  2. As of this morning, I have lost 77.8lbs. I realized that my 10 year old daughter weighs 71lbs. I've lost a 10 year old child!!! SO happy with my sleeve!
  3. Congrats!! Wishing you the very best!
  4. I had something similar and was told by my dr that it wasn't uncommon to feel slight movement while things "settled" back into place. I'm not sure if I felt the same thin you're feeling and I agree with the other posters, if you're unsure give your dr a ring. Good luck to you! :-)
  5. I must say, I always look forward to your posts! You are so helpful and very encouraging! For me I really had to adopt the healthy lifestyle 100%. I knew that if I had a taste of this or that it could lead to my own downfall. I think it's so important to realize that even with the sleeve, the addiction and often the tempations are still a real thing. Really, in order for the sleeve to work it's wonders, the addictions must really be addressed. Thanks again for the info!
  6. Oh no! Thinking about you and hoping all is well very soon!
  7. I love the oiknos plain greek yogurt with a little bit of sugar free strawberry preserves and bear naked granola. YUMM!
  8. I'm hoping someone can shed a little light on this for me. I average between 800-1000 cals a day. I've been cleared to resume zumba (YAY!) and when I entered it into MFP it said that I burned 800 and something cals. How does that work if I'm only eating that many calories anyway? I wouldn't eat more calories....that would seem to be a waste. But, if I don't will I be in a negative? Someone with a little workout knowledge please help me out! lol Kristin
  9. Thinking about you and wishing you a speedy recovery!! You're gonna do great!!
  10. So glad you are home and hopefully getting a little rest. Take care of yourself! Prayers headed your way!
  11. Ugh! I hate those days!! For me it isn't the sweets, it's the salty crunch things! I'm like Lissa...they do not come in my house! lol Luckily you realize that you had a rough day. It's over...today is a new day. Keep going in the right direction and don't look back. Trust me, I'm sure we've all had days like that. Just don't beat yourself up over it :-)
  12. I am so sorry for your loss! Please take care of yourself!
  13. I met with 2 doctors. For me, after meeting the 2nd doctor, the choice became quiet clear. The first one seemed rushed, had little to no "bedside manner", and at my first consultation told me that it was just a check off the insurance requirement list. When I met the 2nd doctor for my first consultation, he did an exam, drew on a white board to show me what he would do, and answered all of my questions. I would bet I was in there every bit of an hour and a half!! I think it would be hard if all things are equal between the two doctors....but I really believe in trusting your gut. Their experience is important of course, but for me I was sort of looking for that comfort level feeling also. Good luck to you!!!
  14. YES!!! Just last night I had to turn the other way because I felt like my husband was inhaling his food!! Gross! Portion sizes and just recently certain foods (super sweet, fried or greasy), make my stomach want to roll!! So strange how things change! lol
  15. I'm sorry you've had such a rough time already! Praying that your leak heals on its own and that you begin to feel better soon!! Take care!
  16. Wow!!! You look beautiful!! Congratulations on your successes!!!!
  17. Very interesting!! I'd love to participate...count me in as well! :-)
  18. You are not alone!! I was the exact same way!! I was so scared that I was going to stretch my new sleeve or worse yet, cause a leak somehow. I don't have any wise words of wisdom, all I know is that if you trust the process and in your doctors instructions, you should be just fine! :-)
  19. This was a tough one for me to ask too, but I agree with Circa, don't hold back on the questions for the doctor. I'm sure it's pretty routine for them :-) I was told that I could resume activities when I felt ready.
  20. I remember my surgeon telling me not to weigh the first month after (ummmm sure lol). He said that there's swelling, healing and fluid in you that you really wont get a truly accurate weight right away! Hang in there, this is totally temporary!!
  21. Wishing you lots of luck! Your positive attitude and new sleeve will take you far!
