About Me

I'm a married, working mom with two kids in a private university. I never thought I'd let myself get into the situation I'm in with my weight, but enough with the excuses. Going through terrible times with our child doesn't justify food as a release mechanism to manage stress. Trying to undo those habits when it's gotten into such a routine is awful, but doable. Relationships can improve and conscious, controlled decisions have put me in a better frame of mind. I'm hoping the sleeve will be my "big brother" as I've learned to change those habits. I know I've made the right decision about the surgery and look forward to a much better life! Time for me!
