I have been banded over a year and have constantly have left side pain near the band area and the port area. I have had multiple endoscopies, my gallbladder removed, and all other organs checked. The pain is constant and not associated with eating... I am starting to become concerned that my body does not like having a foreign object in it? Anyone else experienced this or something similar??

I am 17 days out and still dealing with the port soreness pulling. You will start to feel normal but I also thought what the heck did I do until I hit the two week mark.

I am out in Goodyear and was banded the 30th. I have chatted with Amy a bit! Also looking for a support system!!

I was banded on the 30th and still feel like I was punched in the port area.... It is still pretty uncomfortable.... Anyone else have lingering port area pain? Also feel like I have a cramp in my side. Have a follow-up tomorrow - hopefully that is "normal"??

I was also banded on 6/30 and the left shoulder pain is finally easing up today!

I also feel like a bus (or train) hit me. I am worried because today is day 5 (was banded the 30th) and I definitely don't feel anywhere close to 100%. My port area is still really sore and I can't stomach the protein shakes. I am feeling really weak but I am pretty sure I haven't had enough fluids or protein. Any one else struggling?

I still have a lot of pain in the area of my port.... Is this normal? I think I anticipated this being easier. It takes pretty much all the energy I have just to go to the bathroom. I am totally struggling with what I think is head hunger.... Have no real desire to eat but the pizza commercials are killing me.... Lol

I am so scared and questioning my decision! I am terrified of anesthesia..... God give me strength!
