    EA Active 2

My husband and I bought the new EA Active 2 game/fitness program for our PS3 a couple of days ago. I did my first workout yesterday morning and WOW am I feeling it today! I am sooooo sore in my upper legs, like really hurting. It was fun, and the sad part is I set it on the easy level and I am this sore. One bad thing about the program was that it didn't register some of my movements, so I was having to do extra ones at times to get a movement to count. Perhaps that is why I am so sore? I don't know. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes, I never really felt anything on my Wii Fit. Wii Fit & Wii Fit Plus were always fun, but I never really felt like I was working out. This does! Has anyone else tried this or even the original version? Like it or dislike it? Any tips?

    So im addicted to Lapband

I'm a newbie trying to get insured and very addicted to research too - it is rather addicting lol. But at least it shows how serious we are and we will be well informed, so that is awesome, right? Right! Let me know if you start a blog, I'd love to follow your journey! Best of luck to you SkinnyInside!

    Newbie starting the journey

Hi Samantha! I'm new here too Best of luck to you on your journey - do you have any estimation of when you'll be banded? I'm hoping to be by the end of September. It feels so far away, but from what I read on here, it will go by fast!
  5. Hello everyone! I am so amazed at what a wonderful forum this is - I feel so blessed to have found it! It's nice to see how supportive and informative everyone is, and I look forward to getting to know all of you. I may not be knowledgable about the during-op and post-op, but once I am, I'll definitely pay it forward. Anyway, my name is Lisa. I am 30 years old with PCOS and Hypothyroidism. I've been overweight since I turned 20, and obese since I was 21-22. As with most Bandsters, I have tried just about all of the diets you can think of: Weight Watchers (a billion times), NutriSystem (twice), Curves, Atkins (4 or 5 times), Slim Fast, SparkPeople (several times), fruits & veggies only, you name it, I've probably tried it. Some have lasted a day or two, the longest (Weight Watchers) I stayed on plan for about 8-10 months. That was the first time I attempted dieting, and haven't been able to last as long as that since. So, I've done some research and have decided to get the Lap Band. I am going through True Results and doing the pre-reqs my insurance (Aetna) is requiring (4 months medically supervised weight loss, 2 nutritionist visits, psych eval). I should be done with those in mid-late August, so I'm really hoping to be banded in September. My 31st birthday is that month - what a wonderful present to myself, eh? Sorry for rambling, I just wanted to say hello and give a little introduction about myself. I've decided to try my hand at blogging my way through this journey, so I hope you guys will check out my new blog here. I hope to meet many new and wonderful friends Thanks for reading this lengthy post lol. Have a wonderful, healthy day!
