What up? Way too quiet in here today. TracyK...where u be? Kids are taking a test and I get violet time...and yet, no violets:frown:

LMAO...I am glad someone remembered why we got kicked out. And Michelle, perhaps if you are really lucky, you and your friend can get kicked out of some place too! TracyKS~ What are happy pills? Can I get some too? I know I am fighting some serious depression. How I deal with it is eating and shopping, both of which I can't afford to do. I've spent way to much this past week, and am still hankering to spend. It "makes me feel good" I guess cause I grew up w/o the luxury of being able to indulge in "retail therapy". I don't know...between my mouth and my wallet, I am getting plenty of exercise this week. BBL

LOL...just had to post this. Susanne goes to softball practice on Wed nights. I've been grading papers all night (week actually) and am SOOOO tired of it. so about 7:30 I plug in the Ipod and start rocking out. I love to sing...I do it all the time. It is really my "happy place" and even though I dont do it well, i do it all the time. Well, I was watching the door, not wanting to get "caught" hitting the high notes. I thought I was being pretty good...staring at the door for 30 min. Well, I missed her coming in and she had a solo performance of me, sitting on the couch, w/ ipod on, puter on my lap, eyes closed and having at it! HAHA. Good thing we are already in love...haha! Oh well...have a great night!

Me...I am hunky and dory...and freakin busy! Did I not post today? Anywho...I watch the news ALL THE TIME! Then I watch some of the news shows...and I LOVE Rachel Madow! Oh and I live for the Sunday morning shows too! For years, I did not watch the news as it depressed me too. I guess it has to do w/ what is going on in our lives or something. I had a 3 hour meeting today and then another 1 hour meeting today. Oh yeah...and at lunch, I had the freakin PB from Hell. I PB'd, then puked 3 times. Freakin chicken too. Last night I had a Mojito and the chic went down fine...today sans Mojito...trouble. I mean sometimes you PB and can eat...but not this time. Scared to eat anything...but I am sure I will "get over it" and eat something. BBL

You all crack me up! I remember TracyKS and I completely tanked in the pool! I was staring into her eyes which were pretty green and hella red and we were laughing. And I loved the hot tub...and the cat calls of everyone walking in! Hell, Laura and I got kicked out of the bar (what was that for again?) And having SOOOO much fun at the bar on Sat...we did some serious dishing at the pool tables! And last but certainly not least...the 2am fast food mission and strange tits ending up on Jane's cell phone...NOW THAT SHIT WAS FUNNY! We had a busy day and went to the Veterans Parade then out to dinner w/ friends (Melissa, Jackie and Stef). It was really a fun day, but so busy...I need another day off, lol! xoxooxxooxxoxoxo I love my Violets too!

Hey Ladies~ In the interest of full disclosure...pizza and Dairy Queen...I suck! and I think Judy texted me w/ "make good choices" @ 5:30am... I guess I made shitty choices about good food. Laura~ Dont get it done. It is not like you are high risk or anything. If you were in your 40's or were on crack (i don't know) it would be one thing. You are not gonna change anything. You and Russ are young, healthy, and will be fine. Say a few prayers...eat your veggies, take your vitamins and leave it in God's hands. Morning Violets~ SNOW! I am wearing shorts and a tank top right this second. BBRRR!!! We are in the high 70's today, but are expecting 90's later this week! Now mind you 90 is the abnormal...but I am not ready for snow! STAY WARM! Have a great Monday! Morning Violets~ Happy Sunday! We lounged in bed (Susanne is still in there snoozing) I read and she slept! We are gonna be lazy...well, i need to write on diss, and then her softball game. Otherthanthat...an enjoyable Sunday on tap here! Yesterday we worked in the yard all morning...cutting all the way down three big booginvillas (sp) and then a huge truck load to the dump...then the store...we were pooped. I sooo love JT! I jumped up and down and grabbed Susanne's arm like I was 15! She "gets" my serious crush on him. We always joke that if Justin Timberlake or Matthew McConehy (sp) or Scarlet Johansen come to the door...she needs to step aside. I, of course, need to get the hell out of her way if Jodie Foster or Marishka Hargatay (hot chick from Law and Order) come to the door...LOL...girls can dream eh?

WOOHOO~ Well, I am glad ya'll heard about the surprise...I had NO IDEA! The concert was great! She started at 9:50pm (WAY PAST BEDTIME) but once she came on...she rocked it! Some songs were a bit loud. Outside concerts can be hit or miss w/ sound. But she can really sing!!! The "show" was great! Brittney Spears (whom I don't really like at all...but it was great to see her and she looked faboo) came on and joined Madonna for Human Nature (she sang "express yourself...don't repress yourself" for the Madonna fans...LOVE THAT SONG) and then towards the end of the show, Justin Timberlake (MY BOYFRIEND...I HAVE POSTERS OF HIM IN MY CABINENT AT WORK...AND I LLLOOOOVVVVEEE HIM) came on to sing 4 Minutes!!! THAT WAS A HUGE HIGHLIGHT! Then we rushed the crowds out...and got out quickly...took us only 1:40 min to get home which for those of you who do not know...is great time! All and All...it really was a life long dream! I've been a huge Madonna fan since I was 16 (when I was a virgin walking around singing "Like a Virgin"). At one point, I was thinking..."I CAN'T WAIT TO TELL THE VIOLETS!" Gonna go pop around, check emails, etc. BBL xoxoxoxo PS...so glad I took the day off!

I remember my grandfather trying to teach me to balance a check book. I did his when "we took over his finances" which was a huge undertaking (the days before online banking). I never had any money...so it was never an issue. Now I have a little bit and I do like Laura and Tracy, it comes in, I pay online, and what is left I live on. I get paid once a month. What is left over at the end of the month is "savings" and gets transfered lol! I remember my mom fretting about 'not balancing" the books when I was a kid. That is now a blast from the past as now we all pop on and check balances online.

OOO in that case, I balance all the time. Honestly, I rarely write checks anymore. Only for misc household bills (i.e., plumber etc)

Jane is my BFF too! Haydee, sent you a very funny, yet naughty text! hehe Susie, what is this balance checkbook thing you speak of? Never heard of it...sure as hell never done it! count down is on for the concert!!! And a 3 day weekend...ya!
