Hey Girls~ We had a blast! I have 4 pix to put up on FB, but it seems the site is down. If I can't get them up soon, I'll email to you...but they are big (and I have not figured out how to resize Terry). We had dinner and drinks (actually only one killer one called the Cadillac!). Their room is beautiful and has amazing views of our mountains! I'll have more pix tomorrow...off to try to post on FB now.

Just saw the girls at the pool...already enjoying Palm Springs Tequila!!! I'll pick 'em up in a half hour. They look beautiful...and are proud to represent the Violets!

UPDATE: Just got a text the girls have landed!!! They are waiting for the shuttle to the hotel, and I'll pick them up at 2pm!! I know Michelle was up at 2:30am and left her house by 3:30am. Hope she slept on the plane. They've been together since Dallas. ttfn

Hey Girls~ All of my kids are outside doing the 6th grade Olympics! I am in my air conditioned room w/ 12 7th and 8th graders who don't speak a lick of English watching Shrek! Life is good! I never do the Olympics...it is freakin' hot and they will be outside until 11:30! Uh, no thanks! Hope Laura is ok...been thinking about her. Terry, enjoy your dd time!!! HELP!! I have a question! I am at work and wondering if I am the only one scheduled to leave at 7 am on Monday??? That presents the problem w/ me getting back to Huntsville right? I can change to leave Huntsville at noon, arrive PS at 7pm. I just want to make sure that I would be the only one leaving that early (which might mean I have to leave the gang Sunday night :thumbup: ) Should I stick w/ the noon flight?

LOL, no you don't have to work out. I told the trainer I was tentative, that I had company. But now, since ya'll are at the hotel Sat morning, I might as well go. Then we will come get you and go eat, hang, drive, chill-ax! Then about 2-3, home to nap and get ready...we will pick you up at 5:30 for the party! The party starts at 7...but I need to be there about 6pm. I will call you both tonight for directions for tomorrow,etc. I have to work until 2, but will go pick you up and bring you to my house to chill and wait for Sus and then we will go downtown for dinner/drinks/fun...all about 4 or 5...but there is no set agenda. I just figured we'd eat out alot. But Sunday, after the massages, etc...we can stay home, rent a movie, drink some wine and have dinner in! I am taking Monday off so we can hang in the morning!

Hey Girls~ After work we ran out to Avenue (plus size store...really cute stuff) and shopped until we nearly dropped...well, we did drop 400 buckeroos on shorts and cute tops! That is ok...I hated most of my shorts...old or don't fit. So, these all do (except no black shorts). But I needed some cute stuff for Italy. Then we went to Costco and spent 100 buckeroos on water, TP, paper towels, laundry soap and softener! Susanne took us out to eat. She ate a hamburger (uh...no thanks) so I nibbled on nachos w/ machaca (shredded beef). All in all a pretty good day. Tomorrow, I need to see doctor, then get the girls registered and ready to check in at hotel. Since they are taking a cab from airport to hotel (5 min) I need them to have smooth sailing upon check in! Have a great night! xoxoxo

Morning Girls~ Last night, I was starving and very excited as I cooked dinner. I decided to make hamburgers and had some pot. salad and baked beans. Well, in my hunger and haste, I took too big of a bite...got it down, then another...OOOOWWWW! I slimed and puked for 20 minutes. KLAUSY LOVES THE BAND!!! He lives outside only, and I always PB in the kitchen sink (w/ the disposal and cold water running) and he can hear it...he starts "knocking" on the door when he hears me. He got the rest of the burger and I threw the rest away. It was so bad, I think I puked EVERYTHING I've ever eaten. My tummy hurt (almost burned) so I went to DQ...and it felt so good to eat the cold ice cream. Sucks...Sus ate 2 burgers and seconds of everything...it looked really good! Sigh...o well! So I will eat oatmeal and cottage cheese today to let the band rest. I am making lemon chix for dinner, but will take REALLY small bites, and have some mashed pots too. Well, it is Wednesday! 13 days of school and 2 days until the girls get here! YEAH!! Pop in later...have a great day! xoxoxoxo

Heather~ It has been at the editor for nearly 4 weeks, but she has been busy. I will have some minor fixes, especially on some references, etc. SHE fixes most of it...that is why I am paying her nearly 2k to edit the diss. I need to verify references, etc. Yea, the prop 8 thing is sad, well for us anyway. I am sure many people feel differently about it...but when you are in the fight, it is sad. At least many of our friends unions are still ok. What I do know is it is not over...yet! Heather, when is mat. leave? When is the baby due exactly? I am sure you told us, but I don't remember. Can't wait to see Carson! Just to kiss and smell the baby...aaahhh!
