Sounds like your doing well! I was banded on Monday the 23rd and am just trying to figure this site out. I have had a really rough couple days where i couldn't keep anything down but today is a good day! I had 4 oz of malt o meal (very watered down) and now am having 4 oz of tomato soup. I know I need to get on top of the protein but I am not sure how to go about it. The shakes are very hard for me. Where did you get the "shots"?
  2. I had surgery on Monday the 23rd and am going back to work the Tuesday after Memorial Day. I am nervous because I have been quite nauseated so I hope that subsides by then. Good luck. Today is your day!!
  3. Hi everyone! This is my first post. I had my band placed Monday morning. It's been a little rough. I could not stomach the liquid pain killer so I am just taking some tramadol every 6 hours. BUT I am very nauseated and I know I am not getting anywhere near my 64 oz of fluid in. The doc gave me some phenergan suppositorys today and thats helped a little but I cant seem to get down more than 2 oz at a time of any liquid. I guess I am just wondering if this is "normal" and what others experiences were/are. Thanks in advance.
