  1. Julie, Thank you for responding. How was the adjustment for you ? I know that I am ready for the lifestyle change, however everyone keeps asking how will I adjust to family dinners, holidays, and just in general not eating as much ect...I tell them that I am ready but I have not talked to anyone that has actually had the surgery itself so I guess they are making me overthink this.

  3. Hello ! I am new to the group and am interested in speaking with anyone who has had the surgery to get some more information. I finally after 3 months received my insurance approval today and my surgery is scheduled for Feb 12, 2007. I am excited, nervous, scared, hopeful and all of the above ! I have been doing some research and kind of know what to expect, but would still like to hear from someone who has already had the surgery. Thanks Myrtle in WV
