  2. How can you tell if you have stretched out your pouch? I was banded July 13 and i have barely lost anything. I also know i can eat a lot of food if i let myself and i have "cheated" with eating more than i should. I go for my first fill today...and i am nervous the dr is going to say wth are you eating?
  3. Hi Vickie!!!! That would be me!!!!!! i just was banded July 13. I actually found out that i had Celiac Disease in preperation for all of this in June.. so i am new to EVERYTHING. Especially not being a great cook....it is very intimidating.
  4. 5 days post- op. Back to work.. feeling OK. Have to learn to not drink so fast... i drink my protein shakes and then i am so full it hurts. I have to remember to take my time.. something i have never done when eating and drinking EVER...didnt realize the pain i was feeling was my full feeling...Is it supposed to be painful? I feel like i have to lay down or stretch out to make it go away.. maybe it's gas, Yesterday was an ice cream festival.. i went thinking i wasnt going to eat anything.. but i had sherbert,,,,it was not sugarfree,,,but i ate it. Is sugar going to really hurt this process??? I hope not.
  5. Thank you for the support. I appreciate your comment!!!
  6. Hi i was banded July 13.... I am still in pain...and even though i am barely eating i dont feel like i am losing any weight, Is it too soon? lol i didnt do the 2 week pre-op diet,,,, i was too busy going to eat everywhere and everything i wasnt going to be able to eat once i got the band. Not sure if that was a great idea... But it's the truth. I am determined to have this work for me, but i am doubtful and i dont know if that will be my demise. I am following everything just switching to mushies in the diet. Day 1 & 2 i did NOT do the strict 3 meals...i ate and sipped when i could...i guess now is the time to pay attention to the 3 meals etc...
  7. I had my surgery on the 13th too..... I haven't weighed myself cos i am in a lot of pain and i havent really done much to lose anything...but thats awesome how much is your goal to lose?
