  2. Hi I am new to this .I have my consultation next week and excited.I need to lose 50-60 pounds to be at my ideal weight .My BMI is 33.Would anyone NOT do the lapband if your BMI was at 33? I am considered obese. One question where exactly is the port placed? will it show through my clothes once I lose weight? I also have a four year old with special needs and hubby is scared that something will happen to me and I won't be here for our son.I on the other hand am positve things will be ok. Any advice will be greatly appreciated Thanks!
