    Hi was banded In October of 2010. Starting weight was 262 and i have lost 65 lbs so far. In December 2010, the wound got really infected and reopened. At first my doctor said that this happened to some people and that it was "normal". Here it is MAY 2011 and my wound is still open and STILL draining!.. I visit the doctor once a week for a silver nitrate treatment. it usually works for a day or so, then starts draining excessively. it seems like this thing will NEVER close and i am growing very impatient. I hate that no one can "close" this wound with stitches! The Silver nitrate burns like hell and seems as if its not working anyway. Does anyone know how to get this thing to close once and for all? PLEASE HELP!!! suggestions are greatly appreciated! S
