  1. I am six weeks post surgery and have no, zero, nada, hunger. But I do have lots of nausea that is getting better each day with the new meds.
  2. I was doing great the first weekor so and then it hit me as well. Here's the saving grace for me, My family Dr called to see how I was doing and told me to eat (get this) Utz Vinegar and salt potatoe chips 1-2 ata time and or Clausion Dill pickle chips. It seems that the vinegar kills the nausea almost right away and I am so sick of pickles and the chips right now but am not nausious anymore. I too switched to Flintstone chewables and just doubled the doseage.
  3. I was told to plan for six weeks for recovery. I am three weeks into the recovery period and have had severe nausea for the last two days. The firts week went ok but last week and this one has been rough; No way could I go back to work in four weeks. Walking is ok but I do a lot at work and one city block level is as far as I can go before needing rest right now. I would plan on 4-8 weeks for a full recovery not this BS of the next day you'll be shopping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I'm three weeks post surgery today. I've lost 32 lbs so far so that is about 11% of my weight on the day of my surgery.
  5. After a lifelong battle with my weight I decided last year to have WLS. I sought out a DR and was very happy to go throught the program at GBMC this year. My surgery was on the above date and so far i have lost 20 lbs. My post surgery issues are minor but aggrivating. difficult sleeping patterns so far, loss of taste of soups that i liked prior, resslessness.
