Hi, Congrats on your surgery! I was sleeved June 27. I felt like I was hit by a bus ....lol but everyday gets better. I'm 9 days out and I feel great. My stomach muscles ache but its tolerable. I was soooo gassy .....it was horrible! It will pass. I couldn't drink ice cold drinks for about a week. They had to be room temperature, it really seemed to help. Good luck to you!

I didn't have a BM till 5 days post op. I was sleeved June 27. It will happen, don't push and strain. Good luck

Oh my....I'm 6 days post op, everything went amazing. But, the gas pains are so horrible! LOL when do they end?

Hi Carolinagirl! They dropped the 6 month wait, I've researched the surgery for about 2 yrs. But my first appt with my dr was May 2. Things have moved very fast! Liquid diet isn't so bad. Good luck to you.

Hi Dee, my liquid diet was supposed to be 3 weeks! But, my dr. called me last Friday said start your diet! I'm so damn excited, I can hardly stand it....lol I feel like I'm starting a brand new life. Definitely keep in touch!

Hi Becca! Awesome....we are having surgery the same day! I'm having 3 protein shakes a day, sugar free jello and popsicles. I haven't had any cravings, thank goodness! Good luck!

I got the official phone call Monday, I've been on my liquid diet since Saturday. It really hasn't been that bad! I'm so excited, I can hardly stand it. Reading all the forums on here have really given me lots of encouragement.
