  1. I was banded in 2008, and got pregnant in 2010. I had 2 de-fills during my pregnancy, but my band seemed to be normal. A few weeks after I had my baby my band started feeling really tight. My surgeon has emptied it completely, but it still feels tighter than I have ever had it. I had to drink a couple ounces of diet soda before every meals to stretch it a little in order to be able to get anything down without pain. If I don't I can't even get water down without a little discomfort. My surgeon took my gall bladder out 7 weeks post pregnancy and said that the band looks fine, so we know it has not malfunctioned in any way. Has any one ever heard of someone's band feeling tighter after pregnancy? I m looking for some hope that this gets better and it will go back to normal
