  1. I have read here that weight loss is fast in the beginning and that some people go through lots of sizes quick. I am a teacher so I have to show up at school looking somewhat put together. Those of you that have been through it... How do you handle that? Do you buy things that a little tight knowing they will fit u a little longer (hate that feeling of something that is too small!)? But 2 nice outfits and wash them every night? Any ideas are apprecitated. Khy
  2. No u can't just take microdermals out. They are in for good until you get them taken out. Maybe they will just cover them with tape... Hoping anyway
  3. I have a couple of microdermal piercings high on my chest. Will they have to be removed before surgery? They are titanium so i don't think they will interfere with anything but I am not sure. When I had my hysterectomy ( I didn't have them then) they made me remove all my jewlery including my wedding rings.
  4. Hey I grew up in Cincinnati!. Kind of miss it. Hopefully I will get my sleeve in July. I am trying to jump through the Aetna hoops adn hopefully the Dr. Office will get my paper work in and Aetna will approve. I teach and have to go back to school late August. I wanted to have my some of the adjustment to the new way of eating out of the way by then.
  5. I have been told by the person that handles insurance claims for my surgeon that tricare does not currently cover it. She said she knew that it was on the table and being discussed but had no idea when or if it would be approved. She said she was hopeful because it is now being done in many military treatment facilities. I did not want to go the MTF route because I have had prior procedures there and they did not go well. I don't think the people they have are bad... I think they just have way too much to do.
  6. I have Aetna and am starting to try to jump through their hoops. My BMI is right at 40. If I do their 3 month diet and my BMI drops below 40.. will they deny coverage? If I don't lose weight will they deny me because I didn't show that I could comply with after surgery diet restrictions?
