  1. I am 41, I had GSV in Dec. 2011. I was 239 & now 181. I have gotten down to 162, but not for long. Now life is extremely stressed and emotional eating is taking its toll and a hold of me. I have 2 boys 9 & 7 & am 11 year marriage barely hang on, because of me. The attention of men was an ego trip. It feels like midlife crisis for me. How do I get my head and body back in this game?
  2. I too have realized I need to start my commitment again. I find it hard to workout and eat, as well as eating right. I started at 239 and now hover around 178-180, but not my goal weight. I am asking any 2 year veterans, how or what you do or did to loose the weight. I am a picky eater. But what are your days like as far as calories, protein, meals and etc? We can do this together, willowbas :-)
  3. My name is Lysa and I am a professional, wife and mother of 2 boys (ages 5 & 7). I had my Gastric sleeve surgery on 12-28-2010. On the day of surgery I weighed 237lbs. This morning 2-11-11, I weighed 218lbs. I should be proud, but I am not. I feel like I have not dropped the kind of weight I should. During the first month of recovery I felt amazing. I was loosing weight almost daily and health wise I felt rejuvinated. Now, the scale seems to be stuck. I have had headaches and feel tired. But I know I am to blame. I have not been doing my 60g of protein and have been slacking on my vitamins. Eating is not bad, but I guess I could be more focused. I did start the gym, so that should help. Should I be mad at myself or will the weight come off over time? I feel like I should get rid of the scale, because loosing weight daily is not a realistic expectation. My clothes fitting better, that is realistic. I am interested in talking to the community and reading how your journeys were or are going.
