  1. So I am starting a blog this time around on a site I have always just read...never posted...hopefully I am on my way to my goal weight....50 pounds to go. Got my first re-fill 3.6cc and started the Couch to 5K program, and am actually feeling really good right now. I just want to keep it up through the difficult times when I seem to discourage myself out of everything I know I am supposed to do. Here we go!
  2. No, my visit to the first ER was quite....unsettling...and since I am an RN, it was that much more so... I didn't get to Dr. Jay's office until over 6 hours from the time they pain began and they gave me dilaudid of all meds prior to my husband taking me to Dr. Jay's office so I was very out of it. Dr. Jay admitted me, 2 CT scans, EGD and a protonix drip later; I was fine and haven't had a problem since.
  3. So, I started over today with a fill, 3.6cc in a 10cc band. In August of last year, I had to be unfilled (9.7cc) due to extreme chest pain and a 2 night hospital stay. I'm apprehensive; my MD says not to worry; that the pain shouldn't happen again ~ he doesn't know what happened since my band is in good position. I gained 19 pounds since August and knew I had to get started again. I'm 30 pounds lighter than when I started my band journey in August of 2009; but all the original fears are whispering in my ear..........................................
