  1. Thanks for your response JohnnyMobs!!!
  2. Thanks for the reply La Madam. I wonder what % of people have no symptoms. My DR told me that he stitched my band to my stomach, so I can't imagine it slipping without me having any symptoms. I guess I'm somewhat concerned because I cheated on my post-op diet.
  3. Hello all, Can anyone tell me what a slipped band feels like?? I'm a little worried :faint: .
  4. <HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Hello all, I was banded on 02/02/07 and beside the initial discomfort I have not had any problems. However, to be completely honest I cheat quite a bit, actually 3-4 days after surgery I had grilled chicken, chewed it really well and have not have a problem My question is has anyone out there had band slippage and if so, what indications did you have that the band slipped, i.e. pain, coughing, vomiting? I have been honest with my doctor regarding my cheating ways, he scolded me but ensured me that my band probably has not slipped because I have no pain and am able to eat just about anything. I also have not had a fill yet, so I don't have much restriction at all. Just wondering what it feels like to have a slipped band <!-- / message --><!-- sig -->__________________

  6. Cindy, Thanks for the information on the shakes. I am also trying the slim fast shakes, and also the EAS chocolate one is pretty good. When I do cheat I try to only eat meats so I stick to the Proteins, but at night I swear the sweats in the pantry call my name!!!:hungry: I will keep in touch, I need all the support I can get...:clap2:
  7. Hi Cindy, I also started my pre-op diet 01/19 and am scheduled to be banded 02/02/07. My diet is that same as yours and I am having problems not snacking. I'm a little concerned about the post-op liquid diet. Have you felt hungry while on this diet, what Protein Shakes are you using? Good luck to you!!!
  8. Hi Jill, I am scheduled to be banded in next week Friday. So I share your enthusiasm and fear. I too am having a very difficult time staying on the pre-op diet. I have only lost a couple of pounds so far and since I am struggling soooo much pre-op I am of course worried about the post-op diet. I feel I am willing to do whatever it takes, but that does not make it easier. I know exactly how you are feeling right now.....:help:
  9. Hi Babygotback, I'm new to the group and am scheduled to be banded on 02/02/07. I noticed in one of your postings you mentioned you had clam chowder creamy enough to drink through a straw. Can you share which brand that was? I love clam chowder and that would probably work to curve my hunger (that I am anticipating). Thanks...Dori
  10. Thanks Tracey.....
  11. Tracey, Don't forget me....my date is 02/02/07!!!!:clap2:
