  1. I was banded Nov 5th, 2010 and I just reached my 35 pounds lost. I have had 4 fills and I'm at an 8cc. The Dr. said no fill this last Friday, because I need to focus on my malnutrition’s food choices. I guess I was eating the wrong things and he really wants me to focus on choosing more Protein and going back to those nasty Protein shakes. Ha-ha. He thinks I could be right on the verge of on my sweet spot and maybe slightly over. Um I was going to ask if anyone had any great recipes out there. I pretty much live off of homemade chili and as much as I love that, I need a variety. My husband bought me an elliptical so I am using that 6 days a week for 20 min’s right now and plan to spend more time as soon as I feel comfortable. This is all a lifestyle change and I'm learning to kind of roll with the punches. Congrates everyone in your successes and many more to follow. ~Ann
  2. Hi everyone, Well I've never joined a group like this before, but when I live in a small community where there is not a support group I guess I need to take other measures. I had the lap band put in on Nov 2010 and I've lost 35 lbs. I went in to see the doctor for a fill today and he said no fill was needed. Not really the news I was expecting to eat. Todays appt was more like a reminder that now is my time to work with my tool and quite choosing the wrong foods to eat. I guess I'm here to get that support from others who might be going through what I am and I would like to know I'm not the only one out there. Have a great weekend everyone and please try to enjoy our accomplishments we have gained.
