  1. It does depend on your employer/insurance agreement. I have Anthem Blue Cross PPO. I just found out that they don't cover weight loss surgeries under my union plan. And believe me, I cried all day and night. My job offers 3 different insurance plans. The one that pays 100% is Pacificare HMO. I am going to switch during open enrollment which is in October. (Ugh!) But I am scared that a HMO won't approve the surgery so easily.
  2. I had a Dr. Naim perform my c-section at Cedars. If this is the same doctor, I wasn't aware that he did these surgeries. But I do love him. His bedside manner is impeccable.
  3. I had been wondering about 1800 get thin. Thanks for the replies. I had started the process with their office in Beverly Hills, but ignored the bad vibes I had because I want the lapband so bad. I am spooked now. I think I will look into other facilities. Thank you for posting.
