  1. Im trying to listen to my body - its not easy when you've ignored it all these years. Ugh. One Big Lesson Learned.
  2. How long does it take to get settled into a rountine? I am still having trouble controlling what I eat - it's almost like I never had the lapband surgery and I've already regurgitated several times because of this. I am trying to be conscious of what Im eating, choosing the right foods, and I know it's no excuse, I find myself slipping back into old habits and eating too fast, too much. How long does it take to learn self control and self monitoring? TIA, Missy
  3. That may be my problem too - I am having a hard time keeping my carb consumption under control, too. Just pigged out this morning on 2 chocolate long johns. It's not easy as it looks, huh? Im going to have to sit down and go through my food planning for this week and for the next few weeks, although I cant buy much food until the kitchen is finished. It's being remodeled as I speak... Any advice?
  4. Hi! I'm Missy, aka MissyCat, from StL County, Missouri! I was banded 3/14/2011 and still getting used to it... Im finally able to enjoy my first cuppa coffee in more than a week! I'm still learning more about the band, and hoping to get a lot of info from you all!
