  1. OK, my surgery is scheduled for August 2nd, which I figure is close enough to the end of July to post on here. I am 46 years old, 5'3" and weigh in at 235lbs. I have been this way my whole life, was a chubby kid, a fat teenager and college pushed me over the edge and I became an obese young adult. I have seesawed back and forth, but have never weighed under 190lbs, and kept it off. I too, am not even one bit nervous about the surgery. I know that this is the right thing for me to do! I am looking forward to buying panties after the surgery. I know that sounds strange, but I have never owned a pair of cute panties in my life. Granny panties yes, but cute sexy panties....never! I am thankful for this site. It really helps reading everyone's stories!! Good luck with all of your July surgeries and please post soon after so we know how you are doing! Diann
  2. OK, I really need to remember to read these posts daily. It really helps with my worries, and my surgery isn't until August 2nd :001_cool: Thank you all for your posts, it really does ease my mind!
  3. I am so excited!! My surgery is scheduled for August 2nd :tongue_smilie:. Just a few more pre-op tests to go! Wish me luck! Diann
  4. Hi Everyone, I am wondering if any of you could let me know how much time you were off of work after the surgery. I am worrying about time off......I am a Social Worker and am worried about my peeps while I am off. Thanks for all of your wonderful advice. Looking so forward to sharing with all of you!! Diann
  5. Thank you so much Tiffykin. I really am so very ready for change!!!!
  6. Hi Everyone, I am about 4 weeks out from having the sleeve surgery. Still undergoing pre-op tests. The more I read about the surgery, and more specifically, the results, the more excited I am to have it. I am wondering if anyone can offer some tips and suggestions for me as I begin this journey. Really looking forward to sharing with everyone. Thanks ahead of time for your support. Diann
