  1. Congtatulations! I love good stories!
  2. I have heard some people complain about eggs. I was banded on 3/7 and I haven't had any problems with them but everyone is different. Id say off the eggs for now. Try em again later you've healed longer. At least til you get to the mushies phase. Are there are other terms in bandland that a noob may not understand? Like pb? Or anything?
  3. Interesting. This was really helpful. God I hope it doesn't happen to me. Ive been very diligent about slow eating and chewing though, because I HATE throwing up. And sliming sounds gross. But I'm glad you got specific. Thanks Dan!
  4. Thanks Saraboo, that makes sense! I still would like a description of sliming if anyone wants to give it a try. You can be as graphic as necessary!
  5. Well my topic is self-explanatory. I keep hearing about "sliming" and I would like to know what you guys mean by that and what exactly it feels like. I know what being "stuck" means but I never heard of sliming until I came to this forum. I'm a noob. Also, I've been trying to find an FAQ section for the terminology used but I haven't found it yet. I've come across some other terms too that i'm just not familiar with yet- like NSV. So if someone could like me to another post where these terms have been addressed or something that would be wonderful! Thanks in advance!
  6. That's what I'm talking about! It's all very confusing. But I guess its just a trial and error thing for each person.
  7. Hey Everyone- I am new to this forum and a recent lapbander- 2 weeks post op. I'm wondering how long we have to wait before we can start taking whole pills again. I have a lot of pills that i need to take for my depression and I am taking liquid Prozac, which is disgusting and I need a good idea of how long I need to crush these damn pills and drink this nasty liquid. Usually I would ask my drs but my surgeon gave me a completely roundabout answer and my nutritionists gave me differing answer. Help please! And thank you!
