  1. Love the tool analogy!! Thanks. That build-up of shame and fear is totally part of what happened with me. I just got to a point where I had to say to myself, "Self, if you're not going to use the damn thing, take it out!" And since I really didn't want to go through surgery again, and what I did really want it to lose weight and be healthier, I decided the only thing to do was to go back to the doc and to behave as if I were back at square one.
  2. Hey. I just joined today after re-committing to my band. It's been four years! since I've been to my doctor and I've gained 44lbs. At my best, post surgery, I had lost 65lbs. and was thrilled with my progress. I'm back on liquids and looking forward to being back on track. I saw my doctor today and she was welcoming and supportive. So much has happened in my life over the past four years that helped to push me far away from my goals, but I'm back. I look forward to the support and I can get from this forum. Thanks!
