  1. I'm so glad you asked this question. I have been wanting to ask for the last two weeks but couldn't figure out how to go about it or if I even should. But yeah I'm curious also to hear what everyone's experience is with this subject.....
  2. I completely understand where you are coming from though.....My information was submitted to my insurance company on Jan. 25th so I called yesterday just to make sure they had received it and the ball was rolling, but I feel like I want to call back everyday just to make sure things are moving along. That would be my little control freak coming out in me though I have decided I will call once a week on Monday to get updated no more or no less then that (cross my fingers) but yeah I think we both need to RELAX or we will drive ourselves batty!!! Good luck to you!
  3. I feel ya.....I think this has got to be the worst part out of everything well for me anyhow....I was never that good at the waiting game
  4. Congrats to the both of you!!!!
  5. Hey everyone. Thanks for all the replies....much appreciated! I did talk to an insurance gal today about this and she reassured me that NO BCBS of IL does not require this procedure YIPPY no more stress over that one....
  6. I was wondering for those of you who have BCBS insurance if you had to get the Gastroscope to check for Gastritis? And if so did you have to have the condition for BCBS to accept you? My doctor made it sound like my insurance company which is BCBS of IL requires you to have the condition before they will pay sounded a little weird to me...
  7. Hey thanks much Middlesister.....what do you know we have something in common I'm also a middle sister but anyhow that makes me a lot merrier knowing that you were able to use those benefits for your surgery. I'm hoping I can too. I guess I don't know if I should talk with HR now or wait till I get a date set or should I speak with my doctor about it first??? So many question.....what to do what to do...
  8. Does anyone have any input on this? I have hardly any PTO time currently and was hoping to get my surgery scheduled for February sometime. My thoughts were I could possibly use Short Term Disibility but honestly I know nothing about it I've never had to use it before and was wondering if I even could for this type of surgery. Thanks in advance for any help.
