  1. In my seminar they told us to measure our food by volume not by weight. I don't know about the before or after weighing.. but I think it would be after.:confused1:
  2. I read that B.C. Pills don't work as well after being sleeved. This seems odd to me because there are not supposed to be any absorption issues BUT... this is one fire I don't want to play with. What have your surgeons told you? Should I be concerned? Av
  3. I was amazed to see how many carbs the gummy multi vitamins... be careful of those things... I am not sure I am willing to spend that many of my daily allotted carbs on a vitamin... LOL
  4. Please tell me, what is a slider food? I am not familiar with that term. THANKS
  5. Wow... this is great!!! Thanks for sharing!
  6. I have a bullet and use it quite often but I always start with smaller pieces of ice. I have read it doesn't work well with larger ice cubes. Also... I checked Amazon and found that the Ninja was rated higher than the bullet. Hmm... maybe I need one. :wink0:
  7. Ok... so I wax... actually hubby waxes me. We find it kinda romantic. I highly recommend Gigi brazilain wax... it comes in a kit with pre-wax oil which is a MUST. I get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. Several of my friends "sugar" instead of waxing. They say they prefer it but I like the waxing better. TMI? Oh well...somebody asked.
  8. I am planning to be sleeved in June... let me know what you get worked out. I am very interested.
  9. Wow... thanks for posting this workout. I think I will start it now, before my surgery. My surgeon said to work on strengthening my legs especially to help avoid blood clots. This should help.
  10. I have been lurking on the forums for a couple of months now. I want to thank you all for your honest and support right now. I couldn't have made my decision without you. I spoke to my Dr. yesterday and he agreed that a sleeve was a good option for me. I was ecstatic!!! Now I can't wait for a date. I have two more nutritionist visits and my psych eval. left to do. I am hoping for a June date, I am a teacher, so I will have lots of time to get in to the swing of things before I have to go back to work. Anyway.... thanks again for your continued support... I look forward to visiting lots more. Please be patient with me... I am still learning. Lisa:001_smile:
  11. I would love to start chatting. I will be looking for you this evening.
