What happens, what does it feel like? How do you correct it, and how often does it happen to you personally?

So I'm thinking of getting the lap band, but affraid of the extra skin that comes after losing weight, I'm 26 and have about 150 to lose. I will be paying out of pock so it will be hard to come up with extra money for the tummy tuck/body tuck , so I was wondering what things can I do while losing weight that will help advoid my skin to sag. and for those in your mid/late twenties that have had the lap band how did your skin look after losing your weight?

oh also, how long did it take to get a surgery date? I know each place if different but wanted to see what most people say. I'm hoping to get this process going at a fast pace, for insurance reasons.

I've been doing reseach on the lapband for awhile now and I have decided that I want to go ahead and get it. However, I have no idea what is the 1st step in finding a dr. and meeting them and the whole begining process. Where do I start, and what is the 1st apt like (what to they go over/ask) I think I will probably be self pay ( well I'm hoping to find a Dr. that will repair a hiatal hernia at the same time, so that my insurance cover most of it and self pay the rest) So I don't really want to know the how to start the insurance battle part of things, just the other 1st steps lol

I know I need surgery to fix my hiatal hernia, wondering for those who had that fix at the same time of getting the lap band how much did both of the surgeries at the same time cost you. I'm thinking about paying this out of pocket so wondering what price ranges I'm looking at. Any ideas would be great! Amber
