  1. My esophagus is burning too. Has been going on for a couple of weeks. i got my band recently filled to a 6 which is pretty tight for me. I've been throwing up because of trying to eat stuff I shouldn't. I'm hoping it will stop burning soon. Was up off and on last night with the burning. Any advice would be helpful. I was banded over a year ago and have lost 92lbs.
  2. I just moved to Boston about 3 weeks ago. I had surgery in January. Did you find a doctor in Boston? I need a fill.
  3. Dr. Miranda is my Dr. too. I just got banded almost 7 weeks ago and got my first fill today. I've had a great experience from start to finish with his office. My surgery was in the small Pasadena surgery hospital and I really liked it. Anyway I was digging around on this site and found this posting. I see you got banded a while ago, how's it going?
  4. No way you should be taking that kind of attitude from anyone! You're a customer and there are plenty of places to get lapband now! I got my first fill today after almost seven weeks and I've lost 22lbs!!!. 2.5 cc is how my doctor (Dr. Fernando Miranda in Houston) put in. I already ate tomato Soup and later had some yogurt. Went down fine. Mostly just knowing I have a band on has been making me nervous enough not to overeat. I don't like throwing up, and so far I haven't! I'm still a newbie and right now I'm simply excited that I've finally started losing weight and stopped putting it on. I really like my doctor, he answers all of my questions and is real friendly. Plus his office manager (Gloria) is super nice and does a great job answering my emails and calls. I can't imagine a doctor snapping at me while he's got a needle in my stomach!!!
