  2. Hi, Im 2 week today and i am still a bit swollen...i have noticed that in the last 2 day my belly has gone down a lot. My pain is on my left side and that is where my port is. My incision is not healed and last week the doctor gave me some antibiotic ointment to put on it and to cover it up. Today i have been having like a stinging pain where i port is...and if i rub the area it hurts a bit...the dr. told me it was just healing and that that area will be tender for a while...i call or e-mail my dr. for every little question i have and he gets right back to me...so all of my concerns are answered...Good Luck and feel better soon...oh one more think....walking has helped a lot with the swelling and pain.
