Hi, I had my first fill of 5cc two weeks ago and I still have zero restriction at all. I can eat anything at all with no problems. I have never vomitted or had any issues with food getting stuck. I am trying to follow all the rules of chewing my food and all the others but with no restriction at all it's very hard to stay on track. Can anyone tell me how long it was before you got some restriction and also if you have any tips for me to hang in there until my next fill which is April 11th. Thanks! Elaine

I have the same pain too. I was banded this February and I cannot lay flat at night. I have to prop myself up or I get this intense stabbing and burning pain on the left side near the port. I also asked the doctor and he just shrugged and said "it will go away after a while". I wish I knew what it was too.

OMG, I was banded the same day and I have lost 21 lbs. I have the same question. It growls after 2 hours and I feel like I am starving. I had my first fill last week and still have no restriction. I am also VERY tired all the time. I am taking my vitamins, working out and eating protein so I have no idea why I feel so tired. Anyone else feel like we do?

Hi, I was banded on 2/9/11 and for the last few nights I have woken up during the night with wicked charlie horse cramps in both my calfs. I am also getting muscle spasms in my back during the day. Has anyone had this? I am still on full liquids so I am drinking at least 3 shakes per day and some yogurt or soup as well. Thanks!

Hi, I was banded on 2/9/11 also and am starting to feel hunger pains and upset stomach. I do like the Atkins Advantage shakes, you can get them at Walmart, etc. I am starting full liquids tomorrow and can't wait to have some creamed soup. This must be the hardest part but we will all get through it. My question is if you can shew Tums if you have a gurgling stomach? Also, the rumbling in the belly is so loud that people at work hear it and wonder what is going on, LOL.
