  1. Hello all, Quick intro to me. I am a OR RN & have actually done the lap band procedure as a circulating nurse. I was amazed at how fast it's done. I also feel that I should add, no surgery is risk free, or minor. With that being said, I've had lasix surgery and that was my eyes...sooooo I am researching this subject hard. I am going for individual counseling session next tuesday, the 15th, but did it already couple of years ago. What I wonder is, does the bad help with food addiction? You know cravings... if my weight up's & downs were just hunger related I don't think I'd be considering it. Upon self reflection I realize i don't wan to stop eating cause food tastes so good.... and consumes my thoughts, ESPECIALLY if I'm on a diet! lol Well, I'm tired of being consumed mentally, emotionally and physically with food, weight and dieting... Yall's thoughts? Anybody in same boat? Lisa
