  1. Hi my name is Nicola, I am located in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada. Our system is a little different with medicare covering the cost of the surgery, however, I have been on a waiting list for quite sometime. I jsut had my first consultation with Dr. Beausoleil and it looks like I will be having my surgery in about eight months if everything goes well with the preliminary sessions that I am required to attend. I have to wait until March for the first full day introduction session. My family is not supportive of my decision, they feel that I look wonderful and do not need the surgery but I am tired of the mental energy that it takes everyday to feel comfortable with who I am and I am vertainly tired of the copious amounts of money that I have spent on weight loss attempts. I am thank-ful to have located this forum and look forward to reading everyones comments so that I can becomemore informed. Thanks for reading.
