  1. I just had my lapband surgery on tuesday. I'M PSYCHED!! But I would like to be connected with others in my boat. The surgeon I went thru is pretty much the one and only for miles around, which means he's uber busy and I hate to bother him if I can find out another way. What is the significance behind the "POST SURGERY MEAL PLAN"? Week 1: Clear liquids Week 2: FULL LIQUID/PUREED Week 3: DENTAL SOFT Week 4: GI SOFT Week 5: GI SOFT Week 6-13: REGULAR I guess my biggest thing is that I feel ready to start introducing that full liquid diet but I still have 2 days til I am "allowed" to start that. Now yes I'm feel hungry for real food but thats not why I feel ready to start the next step. I feel ready because I'm feeling bored. I'm feeling like" yea yea yea I've done that part. lets move on..." Is there a real reason for the rigidness to this "diet plan" ? Or is it more just a guideline to help you take it slow? ~Rachel~
